Programs & Initiatives
Since 2015, HBCU Walking Billboard has partnered with local schools and organizations to inform hundreds of students about HBCUs.
This 2-year cohort program provides high school
Juniors and Seniors with test preparation, ongoing
college preparation, and continuous exposure to a
variety of HBCUs.
Accompanied with curricular resources and collaborative planning, this in-school initiative is designed to provide a one-day experience for elementary, middle, and high school students to gain awareness of HBCUs.
Through our annual send-off, mentorship, and career readiness opportunities, the HBCU Rookies Program provides ongoing support to current HBCU students as they navigate their college journey.
We Ready: College Gear-Up Series
In the month of October, this weekly workshop is open to the public. Through community partnership, this college readiness series assists students and families through the steps to transition from high school to college.
